Mysteryland 2019 Review
If you’re an electronic music fan, then Mysteryland is definitely up there with one of the biggest and best festivals in Europe. Just take a look at some of the photo’s of the festival and you can see how incredible the stages are and how much effort they put in to the production.
We sent our friend, Alennah to Mysteryland on Sunday to tell just how good it is. Have a watch of her latest video to see how she got on. It looks like she had a lot of fun as there was an awful lot of fist pumping going on.
Travelling to Mysteryland by car, midday on a Sunday was pretty straight forward as there was hardly any queue to get in. Parking at the site was very easy. This might be a different situation if you turn up on Friday ready to camp for the whole weekend…we’ll definitely camp for the whole weekend in future to let you know.
Entering the Festival
Again, very easy to get in to the Mysteryland, there were hardly any queues which is ideal. Could be because of the amazing organisation or maybe because it was Sunday.
Drink prices are pretty standard at Mysteryland. There is no cash though, you have to purchase tokens and buy your drinks using them. This is always super annoying as you have the issue of losing tokens and all the left-over tokens you don’t rid of.
There are free water bars everywhere across the festival site. They also give you the option to purchase a limited edition water bag, in order to save on plastic.
At Mysteryland, there are loads of fantastic food options, including plenty of vegan, no dairy etc options. Sometimes it’s hard to get by some veggie food at festivals so a big thumbs up to Mysteryland. They didn’t have many places to buy fruit or smoothies though…It was definitely smoothie-kind of weather.
There were loads of fun activities to do, they had a 400-metre zip line which gives you an awesome view of the festival. They also had a tattoo shop for anyone that wanted to permanently remember their Mysteryland weekend. There was probably many regrets made here. At the North part of the festival the toilets where quite a walk away.
Didn’t really notice the security which is probably a good thing. There were no issues on site. The staff were very friendly at the entrance and exit too.
The festival looked absolutely gorgeous, the stages were so good (especially the main stage and Q-Dance stage, which didn’t surprise). The Cocoon stage was really cool, it had a ‘into-the-woods’ kind of vibe. Honestly, there was something to see at every corner of the festival. Especially at golden hour it looked awesome, check out the video.
Mysteryland is massive, with 11 stages so there is quite a long walk between stages so not ideal if you are only going for the day. It was surprisingly clean at most parts as well, which is always a bonus at a festival. The location is pretty amazing.
Overall Mysteryland Experience
Mysteryland was great, from the food options to the music. The stages and the site on a whole is a sight to behold. I think if you want to really experience the whole festival, you should definitely go for the whole weekend. As it is so big, you can’t really see everything in just the one day. Alennah had an awesome and will definitely be going back.
If you missed out, you can watch back some of the sets on the Mysteryland website
